This weeks award has to go to a group that endured an early morning
departure. They traveled 1.5 hours north of Tampa to embrace the
ultimate of cycling experiences. Yes, the Century ride or 100 miles of
pain staking peddling on a seat of a bike traveling a distance that is
dreaded in a car. This pelaton of Seminole cyclist stayed together to
cover the entire distance in less than 6 hours. Greg M, Greg R,
Jennie - "Grease Monkey", Steve, Julie, Matt - "The Bull", Laurie, Claire, Richard, David, Jennifer,
Robb, Robin, and her friend.
Great Job we are all proud of you!!!!!!!!
Doug - "Spinmaster"
Special Shout Outs to
Matt Cannavino - "The Bull"
Who did a mountain's share of pulling, changed a flat, sang a few tunes, and gave general encouragement to the rest of the team through-out this ride and finished strong...
Steve Collins
Who just started riding in the last month and had done no more than 20 miles in one ride to this point - we tip our hats to you on a job well done. Welcome to the 100 mile club and the SEMINOLE Cyclists!
